Sur CMFT, Corey Taylor est accompagné de Jason Christopher à la basse, Dustin Schoenhofer à la batterie et de Zach Throne et Christian Martucci (STONE SOUR) aux guitares. L'album a été enregistré en compagnie de Kevin Churko au Hideout Studio de Las Vegas, et produit par Jay Ruston.
